Friday 15th May

It's nearly the weekend Year 6 and another week of home learning is done. It should have been a lovely week where you got to show off how much you have learned and we should have had a lovely day in the park today to celebrate - although it might have been a bit chilly. Your hard work hasn't gone to waste and you will need everything that we have learned this year as you move forward in your education.

I know that some of you will have seen the letter from Mrs Jordan and we are all working very hard at school to make sure things are safe for you when you return.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Whyatt and Mrs Rees

Sorry the videos were a little late being uploaded. Technical difficulties!

Thursday 14th May

Hello everyone. Today should have been the last day of your SATs tests. To mark the occasion I've found you a special Maths test to have a go at today! Enjoy.

Wednesday 13th May

Hello everybody! I hope that you're getting on ok with the work that you are doing at home.

Did you look at my grammar test? How did I do? I think I got everything right!

I've found the SATs reading paper for this year. Have a look and tell me how you think you would have done.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Mrs Whyatt and Mrs Rees

Tuesday 12th May

Good morning Year 6. Here is the work for today.

Did it feel a bit strange yesterday? It did for me. I kept thinking about what we would have been doing if times were normal and it were SATs week. I also missed my SATs Week breakfast!

However, I did find a Grammar test that I had a go at yesterday. Have a look and see how I did. Email me on Purple Mash and let me know what score you think I should have got ;)

I've uploaded the next few pages of Wonder and they are in the folder with the rest for your reading today.

Have a good day everyone.

Mrs Whyatt and Mrs Rees

Monday 11th May

Welcome to week 6 of Home learning. We hope that you had a lovely weekend in the sunshine and found a way to celebrate VE Day even if it wasn't the way that you might have planned.

This week's Learning Project theme is food but remember don't make special trips to the shops to get things.

The otter in this week's picture is a rescued sea otter and you can see more rescued sea otters on the webcam at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. You can't usually see them but while the aqaurium is shut you can see them on the OtterCam.

It was lovely to speak to you and your families last week and I was glad to hear that you are all doing ok.

Keep working hard,

Mrs Whyatt and Mrs Rees
