About the Pre-School
The Pre-School was opened in 1989 and operates from a self-contained building within the grounds of Thorns Primary School which has a ramped disability access.
Children attend from the local community and a maximum of 18 children aged 2-5 years attend the pre-school per session.
There are 4 staff who all hold appropriate Early Years qualifications, including a MA in Education, a Level 7 Early Years Professional and a qualified Forest School Leader. Staff have over 70 years of experience between them
The Pre-School is kept very secure with appropriate arrival and departure routines for parents to follow when collecting their children.
Outside there is a large outdoor area and Forest School accessible from the classroom for pre-school children to enjoy.
