On Wednesday 12th Spetember, Years 5 and 6 travelled to Kidderminster by train to the Severn Valley Railway. When they arrived in Kidderminster, they were transported back in time to be 1940s evacuees. They boarded a steam train and made the journey to Highley, except for Mr Moore, who was taken away as a spy!! At the visitors centre, the children completed different activities and learned more about evacuees in the war. Our journey back to Kidderminster on the steam train brought us back to the 21st century. The children were beautifully behaved and thank you to all the families for the outfits. The children looked amazing.
