The School was last inspected in March 2017.
This time we have been given a grade of: Requires Improvement
During the inspection on the 8th and 9th of March, Inspectors visited 11 lessons, interviewed Governors, leaders, teachers, pupils and parents. They visited playgrounds at lunchtime and break time, the school dining arrangements and breakfast club. They also reviewed parents opinions on Parent View.
You will be pleased to know that the school had a number of strengths including good behaviour, strong spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, pupils feel safe in school and attend regularly and parents view staff and teachers as approachable.
Unfortunately inspectors viewed the school required improvement by
- Improving teaching and learning so that all pupils, especially the most able, make more rapid progress
- Increasing the effectiveness of leadership at all levels
Staff and Governors are currently working on an action plan in relation to the above.
If you require a paper copy of the report, this is available from the school office.
