Class Teacher and Oracy Lead
To enable us to increase teacher to pupil ratios in key areas of the school, we are looking to appoint an additional teacher.
We would love for an experienced reception teacher to join our team and add strength to our existing EYFS provision. We are looking for a teacher who understands the challenges and expectations of a reception class environment and is committed to ensuring that children's early school experiences are positive and result in rapid progress and good outcomes. We can offer a warm, welcoming school with delightful pupils and a hard-working team of great staff. Recognised as 'good' by Ofsted in 2023, we are now looking to improve our school further and to create an outstanding EYFS. We have a large, flexible classroom and a fantastic, dedicated outdoor environment for our reception children's learning and play. There is so much potential yet to be explored within our environment that we need someone with the expertise and creativity to really bring it life.
Having joined Excelsior Multi Academy Trust in January of this year, we want to get onboard with them and their focus on developing oracy across school. With communication and language being a prime area within the EYFS, it makes sense that the new role of Oracy Lead could be attached to a teacher in reception. For the right candidate, this whole-school responsibility is reflected in the UPS grade that is possible with this post. CPD and support will be provided through the MAT.
